Menu Planning Monday 2014-09-08

It's menu planning time, and our cow is here.

Well, one-fifth is here (our share), and we had some very tasty steak last night as a result. If you have the ability (plenty of freezer space and the room in your budget), you should check out doing this. We ended up spending around $4.28 per pound for steaks, roasts, and ground beef (about 12 lbs of ground beef). So I guess we will have more beef in our menu plans for the next few months.

Here's the plan for the week:

Monday: Breakfast for Dinner, Fruit

Tuesday: Steak Quesadillas, salad
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Parmesan Chive Crusted Tilapia, Carrots, fruit

Friday: Easy Cheesy Tacos and fruit

Saturday: Steak and Roasted Potatoes

Sunday: Italian Chicken Rollup, salad
