Furniture Builds and Upcycles
12:01:00 AM
Once I finally get the kids into a routine at school, I'm looking forward to slightly cooler weather that should let me get into the garage and work on refinishing - and maybe building some furniture. I was really inspired this week by several folks sharing beautiful pieces of furniture that they have either built or redone in a true trash-to-treasure overhaul! You'll really love all of these projects.
The Tea Cart Makeover by The Navage Patch shows how to make your own chalk paint and use it in a sprayer! Timeless Creations used Annie Sloan chalk paint to give an entry table some character! I'm wanting to learn to build my own creations more, and Grandma's House DIY has really inspired me to build my own rolling pantry because we can never have enough storage! For a modern look, I could build Love Create Celebrate's Modern Coffee Table with with free plans. And I can't believe that this sideboard is an ikea upcycle from Anika's DIY Life.
