Year One Superlatives

5:00:00 AM

Tomorrow is my Bloggiversary! And in honor of that, I wanted to start a new tradition. I am a big fan of John and Sherry over at Young HouseLove. I didn’t find them until after I started blogging, but they are a huge inspiration to me. I especially love the voice of their blog. I can so picture them chatting away with me in real life when I read their posts. I even got to meet them when their book tour took them into North Carolina.

But I digress. One of the fun things they do every month is make a list of superlatives as a way to sum up the monthly happenings in their blog. And although I am not so ambitious to do a monthly list of superlatives, I thought I’d wrap up my year by giving you my list of blog superlatives:

Cutest First Aid Delivery: (tie) Boo-Boo Bird and Fix-it Fox

Boo-Boo Bird Ice Pack

Fix-It Fox Ice Pack

I just couldn't decide between these two cuties! But let me tell you, the kids love these little animals, even when they don't have boo-boos!

Most Surprising Use of Leftovers: Quick Parmesan Pasta with Chicken

Quick Parmesan Pasta with ChickenI still can't believe how much this recipe just took off on pinterest. It's crazy! I still can't believe that I almost didn't post this recipe since it was basically just a way to use leftovers!

Best Use of 3 Ingredients: Apple Pumpkin Cake

Oh. My. Goodness. I think this is my favorite recipe of the year.

Post with the most comments: Pom-Pom Valentine Centerpiece (43)

Pom-Pom Valentine Centerpiece

Ya'll really liked talking about this post! And I love my pom-poms!!

And in case you were wondering, here are some of my other stats:
Number of Posts: 238

Number of Comments: 1252

Number of times the kids or cats have photobombed my blog: Too many to count. I don't always include the pictures...but seriously?

Is there anything you would like to know about this blog? This first year has been crazy, but I would love to share answers to any questions you may have!!
