Cool Indoors Activities for Kids and A Little Bird Told Me 2016-07-29

12:01:00 AM

In case you haven't heard, around these parts it's pretty hot. Like so hot I'm glad that I have something cool to eat for dessert tonight (blackberry lime sorbet, in case you want to join me). But when it's that hot, you just can't send the kids outside to play when they are bored...it's just too dangerously hot. So if you're looking for ways to keep them busy this summer, look no further!

Handmade Stickers by Rebecca Janousek sounds like something my girls can really get into....after all, two of their favorite things to do is create art and play with stickers!

Mississauga Mom's Homemade PlayDoh is definitely a classic indoor playtime activity!

DIY Pocket Fans are another classic idea - and it's a perfect idea for when it's super hot and you need all the help you can get (from the Gluesticks Blog).

Soda Straw Woven Bracelets by There's Just One Mom and an Easy Bead Necklace from Sum of Their Stories are great idea for my little girls - and then they can play dress up with them!
