Happy Fourth of July 2015

I just wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Fourth of July!
Over the past few weeks, We've
seen a lot of division and heartache in the U.S. through various events covered
in the media. Please take the time today to remember that no matter what our
backgrounds, beliefs, or lifestyles, if you are an United States Citizen, you
have been blessed in one way or another by the opportunities in this country as
penned by the founding fathers of this country:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are
created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable
Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
I'm not saying that the country is
perfect. I'm just saying that we should take this one day to appreciate and
celebrate the blessings that we have here. So many people in this world do not
enjoy the privileges we take for granted.
Enjoy your Independence Day...be
safe and remember that little ones and our furry friends may not enjoy the
pyrotechnic displays. Have fun grilling and hanging out with friends and
family! And keep in mind a lesson that I had to teach my children last year:
sparklers stay hot even after extinguished :-( My kids are still talking about
that one....)
