I am always looking for a good one pot meal. This past week, I came up with this dish using some items I wanted to use up. I loved this recipe because the kids and husband just inhaled it...and it was quick and easy. Fifteen to twenty minutes...and you're done. And if you are like me, you keep all these ingredients in the house already!!
Apple Sausage Bean Hash
Ingredients:
1 package smoked sausage (16 oz).
2 golden delicious apples
1 can of white beans (I used cannellini)
Rotisserie Seasoning, to taste
1/4 cup brown sugar
Non-stick spray
Dice sausage and apples. In a medium hot non stick pan sprayed with non-stick spray, saute until lightly brown. Add apples and cook until slightly softened. Add seasoning, beans, and brown sugar. Cook until warmed through and the brown sugar is dissolved.
Serve with salad and crusty bread.
