Menu Planning Monday 2012-11-12

Thanksgiving is about family for us. But early in my husband's and my relationship, we decided we wanted to make it a priority to celebrate our friends too. So every year since we've been together, we have had a "Pre-Thanksgiving Celebration" with a bunch of friends. This past weekend we had that celebration...but we had to move it to another house because of our road's construction. We still made the turkey and cranberry sauce (I'll share the recipes, don't worry).
I say all that because this week becomes sort of the week after Thanksgiving--I'll be making some leftover turkey soup this week, and other leftover type things.
But here's the plan for this week:
Monday: Leftover Turkey Soup
Tuesday: Breakfast for Dinner
Thursday: Chicken Nuggets and Sweet Potato Fries
Friday: Quick Parmesan Pasta with Chicken
Saturday: Dinner at Family
Sunday: Dinner at Gamily

Thanks for sharing! I never really know exactly what I'll be cooking for the week... sometimes even as I cook I still don't know what I am making! LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea! Hope you enjoy your celebration this week (and next).
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, thank you for sharing. I try and plan a bit ahead too. It's just the two of us though so it's easier xo P.S. hopping over from Kim's Social hop
ReplyDeleteI finally got quesadillas onto my menu this week like you. I am so excited!
ReplyDeleteJust visiting from org junkie and curious what you put in your turkey quesadillas. I'm making turkey, brie and avocado sandwiches this week! Sounds like a fun tradition with friends :) Jenny
ReplyDeleteI'll probably put spinach, turkey, and mexican blend cheese! Not sure what the family would do with brie, but I do love it!
