If you are in the United States, most likely you have the day off. Whatever you are doing on this day, whether you are chilling out on a beach, grilling, napping, or being productive running errands or doing that "honey do" list, please remember a man or woman that you know who has served our country to give you the freedom to do what you are doing.

He took part in World War II, and I'm glad he came home from it. He's the reason my littlest girls are wearing red, white, and blue today.

So many give the greatest sacrifice, and if you are celebrating this day remembering your loved one who gave that sacrifice, thank you for sharing that loved one with your country. If you are one of my friends and family who have served in the armed forces--thank you!
