What! Another post about family? And no crafty-type post this week? Oh, the horror! I'm chalking this one up to no one sleeping well in two weeks and having a sick kiddo and then trying to make up time at work.

But I do have an exciting new type of post--Friday Fun. When you have a crazy week, you have to remember what blessings you have. To put it another way, in a ridiculous situation, you can cry or you can laugh. I'm trying to laugh more.

My eldest is fascinated with doctors, how the body works. She has told us many times that she wants to be a doctor. But when we were at the doctor for a check up, we asked her what she wanted to do when she was grown up. I wanted the doctor to know how much she looks up to him!

She thought a little.

"Come on, honey, what do you want to do when you're grown up?" I prompted.

She thought a little more. "I want to drink coffee!"

She's definitely my girl! Seriously, she desperately wants to drink coffee with mommy. We've told her she has to wait until she's 18. Although, when you ask her, she says she can drink coffee at 8. I guess either age is grown up to a 4 year old.

I guess she thought that was what we were asking when we were at the doctor's office.
